I’m Aaron

EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

A BIT ABOUT ME

I am currently a graduate student, studying Experience Design at VCU’s Brandcenter. I enjoy solving problems and designing human-centered experiences that enhance the way users interact with brands and products. I utilize my background in experience design, strategic advertising, psychology, and business to inform my design decisions and to create experiences that provide value to the user. I am a student of the world, always curious and constantly seeking new information and knowledge.

MORE ABOUT ME

My biggest passion in this world is ice hockey. I’ve been playing since I was 8 years old (that’s 18 years!) and have been a goalie full-time since I was 10. I was the starting goalie for VCU during undergrad and was also the starting goalie for my high school and travel teams. Ice hockey has taught me a lot, especially the power and importance of a group of people working together. As a goalie, I was always in a leadership position on every team I’ve been on. Not only due to the role a goalie plays within a team, but also because of my inherent nature of wanting to make a difference. I like being the go-to-guy and the one my teammates can depend on to make a save. I find this characteristic coming through in my professional career when working in a group or team.
